Reflecting on my career in research and psychology, I have always been driven to engage in initiatives and projects which will have a cascading, wide-ranging and long-term positive impact. NYFA and its approach to education and quality coaching is one such example.
No matter our background or profession, those who wish to leave the world in a better state than they found it share a common goal: to improve quality of life. HAPPIA services (HAPPIA you, HAPPIA employees and HAPPIA places) are founded on the principle that where we live, work and play have a profound impact on our quality of life, happiness and overall well-being. Collaborating with NYFA provides an opportunity to promote health in the world of sport and promote psychological, emotional and physical well-being for children, their community and wider society. It is a goal we all should share and through NYFA, a goal that can be achieved.
As a Chartered Psychologist (BPS), Registered Health Psychologist (HCPC, UK) and experienced researcher, I provide guidance on behaviour change and a holistic approach to NYFA’s research and evaluation services which set out to establish what works, for whom, what circumstances and why.
